It ‘s just an honor for me that Mamboportal.com, the largest Mambo Open Source community site owned by Arthur Konze, has published the news about the Qur’an component today. Thanks Arthur for your kind cooperation. I really appreciate that. 🙂 Keep up the good work, dude!
FYI, you can also download the Qur’an component on Mamboportal.com.
Today I stop in Mambo portal and find that Quran module is one among recent download modules. My feeling judges that, “Ini kerjaan Anton!”
Yes, 100% correct!
Congratulation for your effort providing Quran module for Mambo.
May Allah blesses you with hidayah and inayah.
Amin.
Wa’alaikumsalaam Wr. Wb. 🙂
Thank you very much Mas Amal for visiting my site and leaving me a comment. I really appreciate that.
May Allah bless you too. 🙂
assalamu alaikum,
jazakallah khair (may Allah reward you with good) for the component!
I was looking to get someone to to do something similiar and I went to mambo and see it. I am building an Islamic Lessons website where it will be very useful insha’Allah.
I had a question regarding the translation. Is it possible to put another translation in there .eg. Muhsin Khan/Hilali?
wassalamu alaikum
Fatima
Wa’alaikumsalaam.
You’re welcome. 🙂
Yes, it’s of course possible. Just open the sql files and then edit the necessary entries if you want to change the translation used for the component. Otherwise, leave the the recent translation files intact and just make the new ones, e.g. Muhsin Khan/Hilali’s translation. After that, edit the quran.php file and add some lines to display the new translation together with the recent one.
May this information will help you out, sister. 🙂
assalamu alaikum,
Thanks. Would I need to manually change every entry?
wassalamu alaikum
Wa’alaikumsalaam.
Yes. 🙂
wow.. lol 🙂
Someone I know has the different translations inputted into the PN module. Is there an easier way if its already done for PN to make it for mambo?
Yes.
As the translation files used for Mambo are the same with the ones for PostNuke, I think it will be possible to use the new translation files right away. But, please make sure first that they have the same structure. If it is necessary, edit the quran.php as well.
I have just installed the Qur’an component and it is working marvellously.
Any chance for a French version?
Salaam
Zuveir
The chance is always there, Zuiver. 🙂
You can make it by yourself if you want to. Just use the existing sql files and then replace the entries with French entries. Isn’t that easy?
Assalamu’alaykum, pak ustadz… 🙂
