I was quite surprised when I saw that my name and my site are listed on dmoz.org – Open Directory Project for a while. What an honor I must say. 🙂
I found this entry accidentally when I tried DWodp Mambo Open Directory by entering ‘kyantonius’ as a keyword.
For people who don’t know yet about dmoz.org, here is the description of the project taken from the site itself.
The Open Directory Project (ODP) is the most comprehensive human edited directory of the Web, compiled by a vast global community of volunteer editors.
The ODP powers core directory services for some the most popular portals and search engines on the Web, including AOL Search, Netscape Search, Google, Lycos, DirectHit, and HotBot, and hundreds of others.
The ODP is 100% free. There is no cost to submit a site or to use our data. Anyone can download and use ODP data at no cost provided they comply with the ODP’s free license agreement and attribution. Also, there is no cost associated with listing and submitting sites.
